Tidy looking and easy to use and clean

I bought this food scale to replace an older kitchenaid food scale I used to have. This new food scale is much better since the entire surface is glass, so any moisture will not damage the electronics - my last one became unusable after I spilled some water on it and the water seeped into the LCD and got into the electronics. I highly recommend this food scale. It is easy to clean and a lot more protected from spills. The touch buttons are responsive and simple to understand and use.

Turns off too quickly, TARE button to close to OFF button

I do lots of work with A/B resins. Since you have to mix them in a one to one ratio, I have gotten in the habit of using a kitchen scale to measure them perfectly. I bought this scale to be my dedicated resin scale in case I dripped on it. My problem with this scale is that the display turns off halfway during my second pour at about 30 seconds. This is very frustrating. I have also noticed that the tare button is so close to the off button that at least half of the time when I try to tare the scale I end up turning it off. If you need a simple scale that is not too expensive this is a reasonable option for you with the two caveats expressed above.
