NutriChef 5-Quart Steel Stockpot

The 1 star rating is for customer service. I onlh rcvd my 24 qt sgock pot today and have not used it yet. I may update this review later if the company gains better customer service. I had no idea this pot was made in China until today. The pot seems well made but I haven't used it yet, so I'm not sure. It is very heavy duty, weighing about 9.5 lbs (I read). It looks great. My problem is trying to reach custkmer service. All you can get is a chat session overseas, probably in China. They could not answer any of promo qstns and I wasted 1.5-2 hours on two chats and two phone calls after I got their phone njmber from Amazon. The phone recording answers as a company called 'Soundhound' and it mentions a list of companies they represent and Nutrichef was not listed, so I asked if how they are connectedbto Nutrichef. They repljed, Soundhound is the parent company for Nutrichef and many other companies. They have no way to ship out simple promotions they send with the product, and theh tell you register your product which I did, but it seems theh are just seekjng contavt details which aggravated me. The promo code sent to me in the box meant nothjng to them and they stated their promotions dept would reach me by email. I received no email when I registered my pot and I there was no place to enter the promo code from the card in the box. If you need customer service in the future, good luck. I am not rating the product at this time, just the customer service. I WANT GOOD OL' CUSTOMER SERVIVE BACK AND THIS SURE WASN'T IT! I have had better experiences with some other companies in China but I would give this comoajy an 'F' for very poor customer service and also for having promotions and no simple way to claim them. They told me they needed to createba ticket. That is BS! I also think Amazon needs to makenit very clear and simple where the manufacturjng company is located, right on each product image on page 1!
