Best humidifier
By Kyle on Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2022
You couldn’t ask for an easier to clean humidifier! - The completely open top allows easy access to the whole tank. The base is fairly straightforward to clean too. Strong mist/good mist height, especially on level 3. Way better than others I’ve had or seen. Built in humidistat allows auto-mode function, where it targets 60-65% humidity. Perfect for the bedroom: - It’s pretty quiet. No big “glug glug” sounds like others I’ve had. - The night/sleep mode is as you’d expect. No display lights and no night lights when in sleep mode. When you tap the screen to make a change, it lights up for a few seconds then goes dark again without you having to do anything re-enter sleep mode. A few super minor downsides that don’t warrant a star deduction (although I thought about it for #3): 1. The open top is a little weird, as water can overflow into the mist exhaust (which is the limiting factor by maybe an ounce when filing rather than the outer edges), but doesn’t cause any problems. 2. No side window to determine fluid level. Easily overcome by taking the top off and peaking into the tank (which you can’t do with bottom-fill humidifiers). Also, it has auto-shutoff to avoid any damage. 3. The tank is pretty tall, making it hard to place under most bathroom sink faucets. It would be nicer if this 4L tank was a little wider rather than being so tall. I had a wide 6L in the past that fit under the sink faucet. Not easy to fill unless I turn it as I pull it out, spilling tons of water. Alternatively, you can get a bottle or cup and pour water into it. You can’t do that as easily with bottom-fill humidifiers. 4. Like with all humidifiers I’ve had, the cord seems just a little too short (rough guess it’s 3-4ft). 5. Can’t select a humidity target (other than if you use auto-mode it will target 60-65% humidity). A slight missed opportunity given the built in humidistat. 6. Can’t see the buttons in the dark (and they’re flush with the display, so you can’t feel them either). Ideally, there’d be a backlight that would be off by default, then when one was touched, have a subtle backlight come on behind all the buttons so you can see what you’re doing. Again, I know this is minor, but popped up as an annoyance in my first week of use. I had bought a few humidifiers and they’ve either broken after a few months or I’ve returned them for a variety of reasons. Overall, it’s the best humidifier I’ve owned. Very happy with it so far.

Never again

Terrible product. Started out OK but within 9 days.. it had issues, specifically it started leaking. I first thought it was me being sloppy when I filled it, cleaned up and moved on. Then it continued to leak and at the same time the scented oil tray never seemed to work. So I took it apart, completely cleaned it then started over. Placed it on a folded towel on a counter, only half filled the container and watched it. Within 30 mins the towel was damp, in an hour it was wet. After a hour and a half the towel was soaked and water was dripping to the floor. I took the device, emptied the remaining water and through it in the garbage. Sorry but I have been using a 100 ml cool mister for 9 months and it been perfect. If I use a few drops of scented oil it fills the room for 5 hrs. This thing was 4 Liters and it leaked the whole 4 liters in the first 2 weeks.
