Versatile and Stylish Laptop Backpack!
By Sean Bozarth on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2025
The ZINZ Slim & Expandable Laptop Backpack is a great combination of functionality and style. The slim design makes it perfect for everyday use, but the expandable feature provides extra space when needed. It easily fits my laptop, charger, and other essentials without feeling bulky. The material is durable and water-resistant, offering great protection for my devices. The padded straps are comfortable, even when carrying it for long periods. There are also multiple compartments, which help keep everything organized. Overall, this is a sleek, lightweight, and practical backpack that works well for both work and travel. Highly recommend!

Serious Review - a thorough review with measurements
By Baebae on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2023
Update: I used this bag everyday for 3 months& a seam popped on the shoulder strap which has started fraying. Also, had to replace the hardware on it straight out of the bag. For the price, there’s a lot of good things going on in design, styling, features, and function. Mostly good, some downsides. This is not designed for heavy or thick laptops- definitely meant for lightweight laptops or tablets. Would not trust use this as a backpack for heavy loads as is- with modifications it could be good. Will likely use as a lightweight daypack for travel or personal item. This bag has so much potential to be great in the design and styling, but there are obvious quality issues with the plastic “hardware” - a clip broke straight out of the packaging from shipping without any weight in the bag. Zippers are just okay. They snag a bit on each other and extra fabric in the expanding section when unzipping. Requires a little finagling, but otherwise okay. Laptop section is lightly padded and lined with a soft sort of microfiber lining. Lining is about 1 0.25in/ 0.5cm. Designed with slim laptops or tablets in mind; thicker laptops for gaming and such will probably struggle to fit in this sleeve. No stretch or give in the material on the external dimensions of this area. About 15 in/38 cm long, on the diagonal measure it is about 17in/43cm. The double water bottle pockets are a nice feature when expanded. Won’t hold a Nalgene, but I was able to squeeze 26oz/750mL insulated bottle into the pocket with the bag empty. Bottle circumference for reference is 9.75in/24.7cm by my measure. It was a very tight fit, but it just fit. Mesh pocket was stretched to its full measure. Will probably utilize one for an umbrella/ rolled rain jacket or sunglasses and case and the one one for water. External pockets- both are flat. Top pocket is about 6 in/15 cm. Bottom is about 7in/19cm. Rear pocket (strap storage) is flat & 13in/33cm deep. Rear pocket could hold folders or maybe a small water bladder if you are VERY serious about hydration. I will probably place a compression packing cube with a jacket in there to serve as additional back padding if carried in “backpack mode” and easy access. The pass through port has USB A, USB C, and audio ports. They all worked on first use. We’ll see how the hold up over time. Trolley strap/ suit case handle pass through is about 9in/23cm. Minimal internal organization in the expanded internal section. One main pocket with a stretch pocket on the back for a folder or maybe a tablet. Fold down flap for stability on the bottom, but doesn’t seem like it would be very sturdy. I’ll probably reinforce this on my own. There are flaps on the side that keep this bag from fully opening clam shell style, but could be modified for that effect if desired. I would not try to load this down or over stuff this bag in “backpack mode”. I don’t think the zippers are sturdy or durable enough for rigorous or heavy use as a backpack. Straps and back have like zero padding which would make uncomfortable for long wear.Lighter loads are probably best based on the materials used. The design is pretty cool, I wish more effort had be put into higher quality hardware on the bag. I read other reviews that mentioned bad hardware. I’m going to replace the plastic parts with metal D rings and clips. Using for a trip at the end of the month. Will probably add on top of my rolling bag and not carry as backpack. Plan to use it for easy access items to be checked at security and in flight.
