Excellent and Easy to Use

fantastic vacuum! does a great job, light and easy to carry around. a few handy attachments. easy to empty and clean. great for stairs. has two suction levels, good for hard floors or carpet. my carpet and rugs are not deep shag, so not sure how well that would work. i also have a “regular vacuum” i use upstairs, this one is mostly for rugs and my carpeted stairs.

EDIT: lasted 3 weeks.

This thing worked wonderfully for the first 3 weeks. Then it died. Contacted shark. They have sent 3 replacements. The last one June of 2023. Now there is no suction and I called shark customer service and we tested it to know specifically that it's the motor not the filters, but they will not pursue a replacement. First I have to spend $30 purchasing new filters. And her words were "after you install the new filters, if the problem persists you can call us back. She then said if it didn't solve the problem I COULD be credited the purchase price. (I guess they get to keep that nearly 100% shipping fee)" We had just taken off all the filters (I already told her I'd cleaned the filters and all her tests showed the filters were clean) and tested the suction coming from the motor-with no filters-and there was none. So it's not the filter. But I have to spend $27.95 to have them mail me new filters that they know aren't the problem. And she just swears if the filters aren't the problem I'll get a credit for them for anything further. I'm really trying to tell you it's not worth it. The $27.95? It's actually $15.95 one foam filler and one super thin fabric filter. $9.95 shipping. For comparison, my apartment is 486 square feet and it is full of all full size furniture (including 2 3 ft ottomans and a queen sized bed) and it uses almost 2 battery lights. If you vacuum too slowly it overheats. I have one dog who barely sheds baby fine short fur. Her chest and belly are bald. From June to January it performed beautifully. But this is the 3rd one and the motor is dead and they forcing me to purchase unnecessary parts to do a warranty claim. Don't do it

We love this vaccum! So lightweight, easy to charge and does a great job on hardwood and carpet. I love that my hair doesn’t get tangled in the brush. Definitely would recommend!
Very quiet and works great

There's really only one thing that I wish was different.. I sure would like to be able to hang this on the wall or even leave it fully assembled but you have to take the top off and attach it to the bottom of the vacuum for storage. You can't just grab and go you have to actually take the head off the clip on the bottom of the vacuum near the floor and reattach it. Not really a big deal but it seems like in production, they were all finished and then realize it couldn't stand up because it was too top heavy so this was their solution. An afterthought. Other than that, it's great. We also have cats and with that comes a lot of fur balls all over the place in the corners. I'm blown away that the roller doesn't get all clogged up with fur. Our last corded shark collected more fur in the rollers than in the dustpan. It felt like a weekly job turning it upside down and cutting all the fur out.

My plug-in canister vacuum is now unemployed

I got sick of dragging around my clunky canister vacuum and dealing with the power cord, replacement bags, and maneuvering around tight spaces. I bought this vacuum with the hope that it would take over the job. When I first used it, I thought it wasn't powerful because it is so quiet. It did a great job, however, and I am very impressed. It is very light and maneuverable - I can easily vacuum the cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, and tight spaces with the little corner attachment. I occasionally have to use the power boost when picking up heavier objects or in tight corners. The powered carpet head work great as well. I can't attest to battery life. It hasn't been an issue, but I don't do all my vacuuming in one day. The only issue I have is that the power switch is in a weird location (my personal opinion), but this is so trivial that I didn't take off a star.

Don't worry about this vacuum being "renewed". The vacuum I received was packaged very nicely and I needed to look at it very closely to see that it was not a factory sealed new unit. It has one very small scratch that only I would notice. Woot says it has a 90 warranty. Pros: 1. Easy to assemble and easy to use. 2. Plenty of suction on all surfaces even thick carpet. It is removing cat hair from the carpet that my previous two upright vacuums missed. 3. Battery life is more than enough for my needs. 4. All of the features and attachments work as advertised. 5. I expected it to be louder than it is. The motor unit is quiet. The beater bar makes most of the noise. 6. It is light and easy to push even on my thick carpet. Cons: 1. The tube has a slight amount of flex where it connects with the motor unit. 2. I wish the dust cup was a bit bigger. That's it. Summary: It is exactly what it needed for my small house. I feel like I stole it by paying only $159 for it.

Our first one is wonderful to use in our home. Cleans in one charge. Purchased a spare because they don’t make this model anymore. Sent with a dirty filter - but I just took filter out and washed putting a new one in for now. Great product.

We purchased this model hoping to find a vacuum stick that would suck up cat hair. I did a little test just now and did a 5x8 area carpet. On the first pass the container was full. Wow, I thought, that was good. Then I ran it over again to see what if anything was remaining. The Shark picked up more hair again but the container was only full half full. I had no idea the carpet could hold some much dust and hair. Amazing. I then cleaned the balance of the room which is covered in wood flooring. The room is 25' x 15' and found only half of the bin full but the floor looked clean, explaining how the carpet was a magnet for dust and cat hair. Very pleased with one exception, it does not want to stand up on its own unless it is blocked so that it cannot roll forward. Small price to pay for this efficient cordless stick vacuum.
