This is the best! (However lid warped after I wrote this review - see full review for details)

I absolutely love this! It has so much power and is so easy to clean and use. I have to edit this to add that the lid on my processor warped. I don't know if it was when I put it in the dishwasher or if it happened when handwashing, or when, but it stopped fitting on the bowl snugly enough and this caused the motor not to come on. I realized it was warped up and I don't know how or why. It was past my return time but still under warranty. I wrote amazon and the company just asking if I could possibly order a new lid, but that was not an option. The company would not give me a refund, but Amazon did. I was charged a $6 restocking fee, but I truly hope that they don't restock this because it will definitely not work with a warped lid. I'm leaving the 5 star review up but with the caveat that the lid will warp and you may not get a refund.

Do not buy this product. It is a piece of junk that stopped working 5 months after purchase, likely an electrical issue. The 3rd party seller of this Gaiety Day Food Chopper is listed as All Buy Day. There is literally no way on Amazon's site to contact this seller about warranty information. The seller is actually an international seller: Business Name: CHOU YEN JUNG Business Address: No. 12, Aly. 7, Ln. 60, Chaozhou St., Taipei Da’an Dist 106 TW I found the above information after some digging on Amazon's site. I will try to use this contact info above to contact the seller directly, but I have little hope of any restitution. I spoke to a live Amazon representative via phone, who told me that Amazon's return window for this item had closed so there was nothing Amazon could do, nor was it their responsibility to offer any compensation for this defective product on behalf of a crooked 3rd party seller they allow to do business on their site. Typical of Amazon. Interactions like this with Amazon are the reason why I cancelled my prime membership and will only purchase from their site as a last resort. Buyer beware of Amazon. Personally, I recommend everyone seek other online mega-retailers like Temu who actually value their customers AND BACK IT UP WITH THEIR ACTIONS! Shame on you, Amazon. I will take great pleasure in assisting in the crumbling of your mighty empire. 'Bye, Amazon!
