Rock Tumbler: A Gem of a Machine (Mostly)
By KJo on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2025
Alright, rock enthusiasts and aspiring geologists, gather 'round! I recently acquired the KomeStone K1 Pro Professional Cutting-Edge Rock Tumbler, hoping to transform my collection of backyard pebbles into sparkling treasures worthy of a museum (or at least, my mantelpiece). This machine is, indeed, cutting-edge... or at least, it cuts through the rough edges of rocks with impressive dedication. It's like a tiny, geological spa for your stones, giving them the smooth, polished glow they've always dreamed of. My rocks are now so shiny, I'm pretty sure they're starting to develop egos. The "professional" part? Well, it certainly sounds important, and it feels pretty robust. It hums along, doing its thing, turning mundane rocks into mini works of art. I've spent an embarrassing amount of time just watching it spin, mesmerized by the slow, steady transformation. It's surprisingly therapeutic, almost like a lava lamp, but with more potential for bling. My only minor quibble is that I now have an overwhelming urge to collect all the rocks. Every walk is an archaeological dig, every pebble a potential masterpiece. My pockets are perpetually full, and my family is starting to eye me suspiciously when I bring home yet another bag of "future gems." This tumbler is so effective, it's turning me into a rock hoarder. So, if you're looking to polish your pebbles (and perhaps your patience), the KomeStone K1 Pro is a solid investment. Just be warned: you might develop a serious case of "rock fever." It's a gem of a machine, and I'm totally rocking my new hobby!

Quiet and efficient, but has some issues
By Bhurgh on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2025
***update*** Had to downgrade my review. Even though support fixed one problem, now the tumbler motor has stopped running (only on polishing stage of the first batch). Sent message to support, waiting on reply, but having doubts about quality of product. I have to return the product (return through Amazon) - the motor is completely dead. KomeStone support is not quite as quick to respond this time, and the only response I did receive wanted more information - although the info they asked for was in my original message to them. Waiting to see if they provide any additional info. This tumbler had a minor problem to begin with (lid did not seal properly). But a response from Support at KomeStone was very quick and they solved the problem. The tumbler itself is quiet - the only real noise from it is the grinding of the stones and even that is muffled in the rubber drum. I have not finished a complete batch of stones yet (just starting stage 3) but the rocks look good at this point (first time ever using a tumbler so my opinion is based on the fact that the stones are smooth and looking like a finished product compared to a rough stone). I don't know how durable the tumbler is since it is only the first batch but seems to be holding up quite well. Fun for kids, if they have the patience for it.
