Magic Mixies Mixlings Sparkle Mega 4PK

My daughter asked for ONE thing for Christmas and this was it. This was the ONE thing she had on her list from Santa. The wand worked, cool! So the Crystal Ball should too with nothing coating the ball that shouldn't be there, right? So much to mine and my daughter's surprise, the Crystal was slick and oily. I looked up Q's and A's and seen the manufacturer said, "Don't worry, it's fine and should still work!" Well guess what. . . It didn't! Even after changing the batteries, the dang thing STILL DID NOT WORK. I explained to my daughter since the Winter Storm Elliott hit Buffalo, NY so bad this Christmas, that Santa and the Elves had to have Amazon send the Crystal Ball to our house to help with making shelters for people stuck in the cold. Obviously that was to cover up that Mom bought a busted Crystal Ball from Amazon that was covered in a greasy gross film! I asked my daughter if she still wanted me to get the Mixie out of the Ball or if Mom should send it back to Amazon to wait a long time for another one that might be broken again anyway and she asked me to get the Mixie out of the ball which required a lot of effort but I managed to get out the talking toy. The Mixie itself works along with the wand however it was a MAJOR disappointment that the ENTIRE MAGICAL PROCESS of getting the Mixie out DIDN'T. This WAS NOT worth the payment plan I was in for this toy; this toy is NOT worth the upwards towards $85+ it is priced as. Having a greasy gross film all over a product should not be a "common occurrence". People, buy it at a physical store in person so you can go to the service desk and get a proper refund or exchange. This is really unfortunate but at least HALF of the product still worked otherwise this review would be even more scathing than it already is! Fix your guys' act, y'all, before someone leaves a viral TikTok exposing your flop product!
