Cuisinart 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker

I've had it for one day. It looks new. No physical flaws. The top and the filter holder have to line up and both feel VERY CHEAP and VERY THIN. I can't see those not breaking at some point. The coffee pot is OK and you have to push kind of hard, to me, to fit on the plate. My old one died, and I LOVE IT however that model isn't being made any more and the only ones are refurbished, and those refurbished ones have rather poor reviews. Will this last even a year? I doubt it. I'll go ahead and start shopping for something different but for the lighting flash deal at 32 its just as good as any other one at the same price range. I would never spend $100 on this unit. EDIT: Well haven't had it but one day and you have to remove the top for the glass pitcher it doesn't like flip up. And the back where you life so the water can be added will not open all the way nor will it stay. This is going back. And after a week of using it coffee grinds every where and it can take up to 30 minutes to brew an 8 cup pot. The timer doesn't work and this just flat out is horrible. Returned.
