High quality set

I’ve had my eye on this set for a while and finally took the plunge. I’m glad I did. It is a really fun build and a high quality set. It is solid and has some serious heft. Putting it together took me about a week, working about an hour a night. Like the Ecto-1, it comes with a thick, high quality instruction manual that was fairly easy to follow. The package says 18+. I’m twice that and managed to make a couple mistakes (mostly just oversights of small pieces). And I somehow screwed up the firing mechanism. A 14 year old or even a 12 year old experienced with some more involved sets could do this. Or it’d be a blast to work on with your kid. Overall another amazing set from Lego and a must have for Mario fans.

Internation shipping ftom Japan - Shipping box bear up & Lego box arrived with a big crease in the box. You'd think they eould have put some bubble wrap around the box being shipped that far. Saved $30. getting it from Japan just for it to be damaged & not worth saving the $30. 🙄 .. Also the spring loaded shooter for the mouth that shoots the Fireball doesn't work. Had to disassemble the entire head to remove it. Still waiting on Lego to respond if they are going to replace it or not.
