Literally burnt

Bought two of these and somehow not one but both strands do not work. One of them has someone's hair stuck to them(!!!) And the other strand literally has burn marks on the plug and intermittently on the strand. The fact that both boxes of lights were clearly already used, damaged, and returned only to be resold by Amazon is alarming and tells me there are probably plenty more like that in the warehouse. I shouldn't be playing the lottery to see if the item I purchased actually works. Buyer beware.
