A humble yet surprisingly versatile addition to any office or playroom
By Rachel on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2024
Ah, the mesh desk chair—a humble yet surprisingly versatile addition to any office or playroom. Because why settle for a boring old wooden chair when you can have a comfortable, affordable, and kid-approved spinning throne? Let's start with comfort. With its mesh back and cushioned seat, this chair is like a gentle hug for your weary posterior. Say goodbye to the days of uncomfortable wooden chairs leaving you with a sore backside after a long day of work or play. This mesh marvel provides the perfect balance of support and squishiness, ensuring that your tush remains happy and content no matter how many hours you spend parked in front of your desk. And let's talk affordability. Who says quality has to come with a hefty price tag? Not this chair, that's for sure. With its wallet-friendly price point, it's the perfect solution for budget-conscious parents who refuse to sacrifice comfort for cost. Plus, with the money you save, you can treat yourself to some extra snacks to fuel those marathon work or gaming sessions. It's a win-win situation. But perhaps the most delightful aspect of this chair is its simplicity. No need for a degree in rocket science to put it together; even your 7-year-old daughter could handle it with ease. And speaking of your daughter, let's address the elephant in the room—the spinning. Yes, while not recommended by the manufacturer (or your chiropractor), this chair has earned a glowing endorsement from the ultimate authority on all things fun: a 7-year-old. So go ahead, indulge in a few illicit spins when no one's looking. We won't tell. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a comfortable, affordable, and surprisingly entertaining office chair, look no further than the mesh desk chair. It's a testament to the power of simplicity, the joy of affordability, and the undeniable appeal of spinning in circles. So grab yourself a chair (or two), plant yourself firmly in front of your desk, and prepare to experience a newfound level of comfort and amusement.

Technically there is nothing wrong with the chair but it is much too small for me and I am not a big guy. These are the problems with online purchases. You never know what you will get so I take the blame for purchasing something I need to physically sit in first. There is not much to the installation with so few pieces but I did have to go to youtube to figure out how to assemble the casters so they do not fall out. If you are petite this might work for you if you never want to cross your legs at the desk, but otherwise look elsewhere and in fact don't do what I did. Go into an actual store. Buying online just does not work for items like this.

Very small chair

We don’t sit on this chair. It’s too small for both my husband and me who are taller than average. (Hubby is 6’6”.) we use the chair as an extender for my husband’s recliner. We have yet to find a recliner long enough for his legs, but this chair, at it’s highest setting, with a firm throw pillow on top, is exactly the height of his recliner leg rest. He just reclines and rests the extra length of his leg on the little chair. It’s great for this. Since it’s very cheap (oops—inexpensive) it would make a great chair for a child. It snaps together in a few minutes. Really easy to assemble. I just don’t believe it would work for an adult over 5’ tall. My opinion only!

I got this chair a while ago because I needed something for the little PC setup in my room. Sure, it's not the most comfortable chair but it does its job. The chair was very easy to assemble and it only took about 5 minutes to do. I haven't had any issues with the chair and most importantly, it is very fun to spin around in :) I probably wouldn't recommend this to people who intend to spend many hours at their desk as it can get a bit uncomfortable over time. As long as you take breaks and move around it isn't so bad, but I could also just still be used to the hard chairs from school classrooms as well. Regardless, it is a reliable little chair that should hold up until you're able to get one of better quality :)

This chair is perfect for my needs. Very easy to assemble. Came with all the necessary parts and an instruction book. Took about a half hour or so to assemble-even supplied a wrench!. Since I have mobility issues it's great for times when I'm sweeping or mopping the floors or vacuming . Also very lightweight. Great buy and great price! The only thing I don't like about it is that it can't be raised very much but I can always find some old phone books to sit on if I need to be higher.
A seriously cheap but usable

I have no expectations of longevity of this chair given it's all plastic construction. It is a good that I know how to structurally repair plastic items. I do give it marks for ease of assembly but the chair back into the seat base is a very snug fit. A sharp rap from a 6lb dead-blow did the trick. Hey you get what you pay for and I couldn't find a serviceable second-hand model for under 20 bucks locally and I had points to spend.😐
Buyer beware! Chair is TINY!

Edit: The customer service was very nice and helpful, so they get a star for that. The photos make the chair seem bigger and taller than it is, the chair base is not nearly as tall as the photos imply. At it's lowest I would say this chair is suitable for young kids. And the height gained from adjusting the gas lever isn't much taller than that. The overall comfort of the chair is not good, as all the weight distribution and support is in the center of the seat and makes my legs and rump hurt. It'll due as a temp chair, but I don't expect it to last long.
