Harry Potter Bertie Botts Burrow Pet Toy

I purchased this Dark Arts toy for my Yorkshire terrier. He loves this type of toy, and I’m embarrassed to say I’ve purchased from various brands 15 of these burrow, hide and seek toys for him. Some are holiday themes so I put them away at end of season. I agree with @Tiffany StClair review. This Harry Potter Dark Arts toy is a BIG disappointment. The cauldron is huge and the toys inside aren’t comparable to the size of the cauldron. Have to assume a non-dog owner designed this toy. Can’t imagine any actual dog owner would have designed this. The point of burrow type toys is for a dog to pull the toys out of the cauldron and play with the squeaky little toys. If you check out the photos, the opening for the cauldron is HUGE. Both tiny toys can be emptied out together. There’s no challenge or stimulation for a dog of any size. Waste of money. The mini toys inside the cauldron are too small for my adult yorkie (within the breed standard size) to enjoy playing with. In my opinion, the mini toys might be ok for a 4-6 weeks yorkie-size puppy, but I’d never give the cauldron to a puppy that young & small. The opening is large enough, a puppy that tiny could fall inside. I can honestly say that none of my dog’s 15 other burrow toys, regardless of brand, have these types of issues. Would also like to inform the Harry Potter dog toy people that dogs enjoy playing with the toys inside but the container typically gets very little play time if any. Why in the world would you make the cauldron so large? Again BIG disappointment and waste of money.
