Awesome filter

Awesome filter. The filter itself that came with the unit lasted a good few months before it needed to be changed. Does a great overall job of maintaining good air quality. The user interface (UI) is easy to navigate and it can display important information such as air quality and filter life. Being able to see the filter life helps me purchase replacement filters when I need to. I leave it on auto most of the time and it’s quiet enough that I forget that I leave it on sometimes. With frequent use, dust does collect at the inlet of the unit as well as the top. Dusting it off once in a while helps maintain maximum airflow. In addition as time goes on the, when the filter is close to the end of its life, there is a noticeable drop in air flow but still does a good job of filtering the air.

Great for Eliminating Deadly Food Odors

After running this thing for several months in a small house with two shedding, dander-producing dogs (and having an aversion to dusting), these are my observations. (1) the standard for clean air must be set really low in this thing because it hums along at 100% almost 100% of the time... and we do not live in a bubble. (2) dog farts that chase humans from the room have zero effect on this bad boy. (3) When it DOES clean, it's because of... food odors. Yes, food odors of any kind send this machine into an hour-long cleaning frenzy. And it really HATES bacon. The smell of bacon makes the clean air percentage display almost bottom out to zero, and it hums and whirls in protest for close to two hours. Conclusion: If you hate the smell of food, this is your air purifier.
