Stylish, comfy, and safe for a newborn!

This is the best baby carrier I have ever used- the fabric is great quality and soft. Plus it’s one of the view structured carriers that is safe for newborns. Baby has to be at least 7 lbs to use safely. We love it! I can breastfeed in it easily due to the stretchiness of the fabric. It is easy to put on by myself and I walked far in it and had no back pain. Highly recommend to anyone with a newborn! I’m 5ft 2 in and it works well for my dimensions. Also the style is pretty cute rather than some of those ugly bulky carriers.

Issues with sizing and straps.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Did a bunch of research and I had high hopes for this carrier. It was Ok for my baby until he was about three weeks old. Up until that point I was folding it as indicated for the under 23" babies. However, around three weeks old when using that mode the carrier no longer provided the correct head support, barely coming up to his shoulder. He wasn't 23 inches yet but was clearly too tall for this mode, but if I switched it to the over 23" mode, the leg support was way too wide. Maybe I happen to have a baby with a long torso and shorter legs, but it was frustrating. Also, I do not like the straps. They were designed to fan out over the shoulder but they don't stay on the shoulder unless I don't move. I bought this to wear when out walking the dog, so moving, lifting my arm with the leash, etc is necessary. It can be worn with the straps vertical (not fanned out over the shoulder), but that doesn't leave much room for baby's face when worn that way. AND, I don't know why the design is such that when you tighten the length of the shoulder straps it also tightens across the body of the baby. Seems like the support/position of the baby should be a separate adjustment from the length of the straps. Long story short, this carrier doesn't work for me. Maybe when baby is older it will be better. but he's seven weeks today and it still just doesn't ever feel like he's in it comfortably and in a healthy position.
