COMMERCIAL COOL 550sqft Portable AC

This did not cool my living room that is about 280 sq ft. So I moved it to my bedroom that is about 180 sq ft, it worked a little better but for almost 400 with tax, I expected more. The picture says this model cools 300-350 sq ft but then the manufacturer stated in the Q&A that it can only cool 100-150 sq ft. Less than half of what is advertised. It does have cold air coming out but its not powerful enough to cool a medium sized room with low 8 ft ceilings. Amazon took care of it but don't go through the hassle unless you only have a small room to cool. I found black and decker advertises their 14,000 btu portable ac cools up to 350 sq ft. I wanted to leave review so noone else has this experience!!
