Instant Essentials 4-Quart Air Fryer

Initially, I was impressed with the packing. It arrived packed, in an outer box, then the manufacturers original box, along with an extra layer of styrofoam. Finally to the Instant Essential Air Fryer. It seemed solid, and high gloss finish, (not my preference due to the visibility of fingerprints, nonetheless, two Dial Control Knobs, (no computer boards that need repairs), my preference.Complaint number 1. No secondary removable basket to be able to shake as you air fry. My inexpensive Korbi had this, I needed just a little more room in the basket.Complaint number 2. As I was removing the Instant Essential 4 quart Air Fryer, I noticed a distinctive Chemical Odor. I soaked the basket and tray for 2 hours with the juice of a Lemon and filled it to the rim with water. Still had a repugnant smell. Now soaked the basket with tray for six hours with 1 cup of white vinegar then filled to the rim with fresh water. The Odor was still obnoxiously odiferous. Finally, filled the basket to soak with tray over night and 4 cups of white vinegar then the remainder with water. soaked it overnight. No smell, terrific! I cleaned the interior with a damp soapy rag, then a clean, (just water) rag to wipe out any residual soap. Set it for a Preheat test run.My entire Kitchen and Family Room had that same chemical smell within 3 minutes. I have returned the Instant Essential 4 quart Air Fryer because of the Chemical Smell!
