Anne Klein Scrunchie Band - Apple Watch

I like the function of this scrunchie watchband. It is summer weight denim, and super comfortable. It has elastic inside, so it stretches to put it on, and it stays put. It's great for working on a laptop because there is no buckle on my wrist. I have gotten compliments on it. What I don't like about it is that it is not waterproof or sweat proof (Duh! you say). Consequently it absorbs sweat when I play sports, and it takes a long time to dry after a shower. Sure, I could take it off (especially for the shower, no real reason to wear it in there), but it defeats the purpose of having the activity tracker functions of the watch if I don't wear it when I am being active. I have washed it with shampoo after sweating and I could see quite a bit of blue dye released. Not a big deal; I'm sure it'll settle down, but be careful if you wear white before it's been washed enough to finish releasing excess dye. I didn't take any stars off for the waterproof factor. That's par for the course with denim. But I find the price (currently 40) to value ratio to be a bit off, so it gets only 3 stars.
