hot spots

This does what an electric griddle should do, it heats up, it maintains heat, it cooks food. But it also has hot spots on the surface, so you have to constantly move your food to assure it cooks thoroughly. Pancakes don't cook evenly, sandwich steaks have to be moved all over the grill while cooking. Cleans easily enough, and it's the perfect size for me... but the uneven heating surface turns me off. 1 thumb up because it does cook my food.
