Save food and money

My last sealer lasted for years. This one is designed so well. The bags lie nicely and seal with no air and tightly. It heats quickly and keeps food fresh for the freezer. We just need to pull a strip to open the bag, otherwise they are locked air tight. I also have the items to seal jars. Love all this when it comes time to put up items from the garden or we purchase large amounts of meat. Saves money and no good waste.

Pretty good item, but not the best available.

If you've never had a vacuum sealer machine before, you're going to love this machine. If, like me, you have had other vacuum sealers, this one is not as well engineered and falls short of the original and more deluxe and more expensive models. The machine works fine at sealing the bags that come with it, except that the sealing element is too far from the front edge of the machine and you waste a lot of length of bag. Pushing down to lock the bag in place may require a second person if the bag is not MUCH longer than required. Some small parts are loosely in place and can fall off. The machine is light weight and can tip over easily. I'll use this machine as long as it lasts, and buy the more deluxe model the next time.
