T-fal Fresh Recycled Sauce Pan

The coating on the bottom of the pan scratches off WAY to easily! The bottom copper rings are apparently only a thin coat of paint! I bought this sauce pan for making popcorn. This photo is after only 2 uses! There were several scratches after the first use. As you can see, there were many more after the second use. I only used this pan twice. I only used this pan on a glass top stove. I only washed this pan by hand. Yes, I had to shake the pan while making popcorn by sliding it back and forth on the burner, but there are no rough surfaces on my glass top stove to scratch it! The saucepan I used for making popcorn on that same stove for years has never developed scratches on the bottom. I expected better than this from T-Fal.
