Goodful All-In-One Pan Steamer Basket

First of all my actual rating is : 3.75/4 Can I just express my disappointment in the fact that I am not able to give this product a perfect 5/5 ! Because this is a perfectly sized non-stick pot which meets my needs quantitatively! Alas, I can’t say the same when it comes to quality! Pros : Depth - As mentioned before the size of the pot perfect for a small family, if you are cooking for a family of 2-4 . Occasionally I use this pot even for cooking larger amounts of food. Washability : it is dishwasher friendly and since its non-stick, there’s literally zero effort that you need to put behind keeping it clean! I have been using it for the last 2-3 months and there’s been not a single scratch on the pot and I use it almost everyday ! So I guess the quality of non-stick is pretty good and it is durable ! Cons : Biggest turn off is that it has no heat insulation on its outer body ! And I didn’t expect this so it was a rude surprise for me the first time I touched and burned my finger! You literally need a cloth , paper towel or a holder to hold this thing, or risk burning your fingers. It heats up so quickly , that you can’t even touch it after 20 seconds of putting it on the stove ! Beware ! Handle : I guess this goes without saying that the handle is not user friendly as it doesn’t come with heat insulation . Overall : I would say it is a good value for money, because I have seen other dutch ovens and cooking pots out there that are like in the range of $100 ish and this is almost half of the price of those but does the same job. I guess the non-insulation is the biggest trade off, so if you have a way to cope with that , then definitely go for it because it has a high quality non-stick ! Also it comes with a stand, so you can steam dumplings or idlis using this one, that is a very useful feature !
