Be careful and don't underestimate how much heat these things produce. I had to get smaller ones and replace the plexiglass that it was closest to. Poor chicks were huddled up as far as they could get from it. Lucky I was monitoring or I would have lost all of them. Thermometer only a few inches away read 131 degrees. That was in about 30 -45 minutes of installing it.
