Super durable

They glide like you're cutting through butter. Precise and manageable. I also am super happy about the magnetic space saver holder it came with -sleek, slender, and modern. It takes getting used to but once you insert them a few times, it is like 123 ... ABC, and you got it! This makes a perfect wedding gift or mother's/father's day gift.

Defective or Poor Design? Not sure.

The knives themselves seem nice, although I didn’t bother to try them because the knife block is defective. The acrylic pieces on the sides are bowed in so tightly that in order to use it, the knives have to be pushed in with a lot of force. I wasn’t sure at first if it was supposed to be like that, so I took out the smallest knife and tried to insert it in the block. It took a lot of effort to get it in halfway and scratched up the acrylic piece, so I assume it’s not supposed to work like that. Also, it says the middle block is magnetic but I see no attraction at all when I put the knife up to it. I am returning it and I won’t take a chance on ordering another one.
