Yokimisu Round Electric Blanket Throw

Edit: The company made it right. While they never responded to my email inquiry, they did respond to my review and offered a couple options to make it right. Given that I had one positive experience and one not so positive, but resolved, issue, I would trust to buy again. I liked this novelty blanket when I purchased it for a Christmas gift. It’s super soft and unique. I was impressed at the heating capabilities as it seemed to do as well as traditional and more expensive ones I’ve purchased for myself. When my own heated blanket needed replaced, I decided to grab one of these for myself. It seemed to be exactly as the one purchased for my son that was still operating perfectly. I discarded the packaging after plugging it in and testing it out. A few days later when I turned it on medium heat it barely got warm. When I cranked it all the way up, no change. The amount of heat has been inconsistent since. I emailed the seller as it says to do in the instruction book but I’ve gotten no response. It does provide heat but I’m never sure if it’s going to be enough to warm me up or enough to burn my skin. I would have returned it for a replacement but the lack of response from the seller has made me very leery.
