Natsukage Glass Chair Mat Tempered Glass

I looked at quite a few options for my new desk area to protect my medium pile carpet. The only spot I had in the house for an office area was small, so I needed to find office furniture that fit the space and didn't overwhelm. I found a small corner desk that was just perfect, but I needed to protect the carpet from my roller chair! I looked at plastic (since I was sure that was what was in my price range). But, I just couldn't get over the fact that plastic may only last a year or two before splitting or cracking. I found this glass option for only $5 more than a highly rated plastic option. I just couldn't pass it up! It came in the perfect small size of 36x36. Came very well packaged... Felt bad for the delivery driver because it was pretty heavy. Was in perfect condition! Installed and have used it for several weeks now. It does travel on my medium pile carpet, so I'm trying to find a solution to keep that from happening. BUT, I love the quality and feel. It will last far longer than a plastic option. Only negative I could mention would be that it does tend to smudge because my kids and I both run around in bare feet. But, small complaint in the scheme of things. Would buy it again if I needed another one.
