Neoflam Chopping Board Plastic Non-slip

I gave this two stars simply because I like the sizes and how they look and the little groove to catch the juice. However, the reason I purchased these is because I was trying to prevent plastic chips from getting into my food that may be toxic to me as well as prevent bacteria from building up but didn't want wood or some sort of steel. Within less than a week, the board is all sliced into and I don't even do a lot of fast/hard chopping. We are talking basic fruits and vegetables. It also stains quickly/easily. Because I see all these slice marks, I'm wondering if I'm not getting microplastics into my food as I'm assuming whatever was used as a coating is now destroyed where the knife has cut into the board (see photo). Furthermore, the back side is smooth without much grip so not a good surface to cut on as it's slippery. NOTE: The photos show how it looks after about 2 months. However, it was similar not just as much within a week. Let's just say it goes downhill from after a week.
