I bought this for my husband since he loves to cook and he ABSOLUTELY loves this! It is so quick and accurate & easy to clean. I would definitely recommend. The numbers for the temperature are bight LED, which makes it easy to read. The storage is nice since it just folds up we put it in our drawer. I would rate this high for durability since we have used this for over a year now. The price is affordable for a quick and digital thermometer.

Probe shroud will eventually fail

I used this happily for 18 months or so but users should be aware that the probe itself is held by a plastic housing. This plastic receiving sleeve is stressed every time the probe is opened or closed. It will eventually fail as mine just has. Now the probe is hanging by a thread (well, a wire I guess!) and is quite difficult to use until I find a replacement.
