Easy to use thermometer

I absolutely am happy with this item. When you flip it open it automatically turns on. When you close it, it shut off. No looking for buttons. And it's so easy to read. No trying to see the numbers they are large. I tested it with my older thermometer and it is accurate. And it comes with an extra battery.

Information on box is incorrect

Worked great for about a year - used it maybe 40-50 times without issue. Suddenly started showing LLL.L on the display - there is no troubleshooting in the manual. The box says it can be recalibrated so I submitted a question to the seller seeking support who said it cannot be and told me to contact Amazon. Since it's long past the return perdio, it is going in the trash.
