Risk Strike Cards and Dice Game

A dumbed down version of my husband’s favorite game that doesn’t take days to play like the OG. Fun for everyone!

There exist many attempts at 'shortening' a Risk game....but they also totally take the fun out of the game! This version delivers on keeping the principles of the game, shortening the playing time, BUT keeps the fun/smack of the battles!

I bought this for my husband's Christmas stocking. We played it immediately, and really enjoyed it. We'll play this much more often than the original because it takes less time to win!

Good quality product. The cards are a good quality. The instructions say for ages 10+ but I am not sure if a 10 year old could learn this game on their own. We had to go through the instructions several times to understand them and then play a few rounds besides. But then maybe we are not as smart as a 10 year old.I have only played this game two handed and although the rules have a variation for two handed more thought needs to be given to make the game a bit more challenging. You win the game by collecting two complete sets of continents either by drawing continent cards from a stockpile or by capturing continents from your opponent. For two people it is too easy to collect the required continent cards from the stockpile.

Risk is one of the few board games I enjoy playing, but the fullsize version takes more time than we usually have energy for and would usually take over our dining table for at least a week, so we rarely played. This one allows us to play more regularly without spanning multiple sessions

I bought this because my husband loves "Risk", but no one else does. We feel it is mostly dumb luck. However, this game has the whole process taking only 15-20 minutes. Also the Tactical cards are fun to play! It's great to mess up another players plans! All in all, I plan on buying a game for each of my kid's families.

This is a lot mor fun than i thought. Combat mechanics are very similar to the boardgame so it was easy to pick up. Great for travel or a quick game night with your partner or a few friends if you don't have time to mess with setup / takedown of a boardgame
