Household Essentials Pizza Cutter

I didn't own a pizza cutter, despite making a ton of pizza, so I was excited to order this. I thought, German, usually good engineering. I will say that I was a bit surprised when I received it that the circular blade isn't metal. The product summary at the top states that the blade is stainless steel, but if you delve into 'Product Details', you will see that the blade is nylon. It did indeed cut my pizza with zero issue, just like a metal blade, so the edge is plenty sharp! There seem to be some pros to nylon. If you scroll down a bit in the product listing, you'll see things like "Circular nylon blade will not scratch or damage kitchen surfaces like metal counterparts" and "non-stick, heat-resistant nylon. Unlike your traditional metal circular blades, which may stick to, push, or drag melted cheese out of place, the nylon blade glides effortlessly through your cheese, crust, and toppings without wrecking the integrity of your pie." I haven't used it enough to comment on whether it's more cleanly-slicing, but if it's better than the metal slicers I've used, I will report back!
