Vera Bradley Recycled Ripstop Cooler

This Vera Bradley purse cooler is fantastic. It is good size and you can actually fit quite a bit inside of it. It is very easy to carry as there are multiple handles. It looks nice. The zippers all work. And, so far, everything has stayed either cool or hot that I have put in this as a test run. I will definitely be using this at the beach a lot. I love that it's not like a traditional cooler that you need to pull or drag or have two people help you carry, you can literally carry this by yourself and have it slung across your shoulder to ease the burden. Highly recommended.

It's a nice cooler, I just wish they had given the lining some fun colors like Vera Bradley normally does with their other black bags. I'm a huge Vera Bradly fan and have a whole collection of bags from the brand. They are light weight and so well made. And this cooler is no exception. I'm very pleased with the quality of it. It just would have been a wonder, Vera Bradly-like touch if they had done the interior in a fun color or pattern.

I was a little skeptical when I received this cooler, as it is so thin and lightweight it didn't look very durable. After using it, though, I actually really like it! It is unstructured, so it folds completely flat for transport or storage. The exterior fabric is a slinky nylon ripstop that repels water and wipes clean easily. It has two grab handles that are long, but not quite long enough to wear on my shoulder when the cooler is full. There is also an adjustable crossbody strap that adjusts super long (long enough for my 6 foot 3 husband to sling across himself), though I don't like that the hardware/ attachment points are plastic (I worry about longevity and durability, and prefer metal). the main opening has two zippers for ease of access, they are not seal-seamed and will leak. Both of the exterior ends have large mesh pockets to stash stuff, and there is a shallow open pocket on the front (too short to securely hold a cellphone). Where this cooler really shines besides its light weight is its size and shape, which is PERFECT to hold casserole pans if transporting dishes to a potluck. Its also a great size for grocery shopping. Overall, this is a handy cooler that is easy to store and transport, and it is already seeing a lot of use in my household.

I was excited for this cooker bag as I've heard great things about Vera Bradley and I'm a sucker for an Insulated bag! I love that rhere are several different strap options, a shoulder strap pr two handheld straps. There's a mesh pocket on each outer side which is also handy. But I do see some improvements for this model. The bottom is lightly reinforced, but not much I'd like to see the bottom be stronger and not so flaccid. Also the sided of the bag collapse for storage or shipping, and it's hard to get the bag to stand upright even not filled. Insulation is ok, but it's not gonna last me all day at the beach or lake. At this price point, I do expect more out of an item than I would from something cheap I pick up from a big box store. Yes I will use it this summer and hopefully it grows on me, but it's just alright. Overall, this bag is just ok. It does have some great potential and I think it could be amazing if some improvements are made! I would not order it again as is.

This family cooler by Vera Bradley is exactly as pictured. The material is recycled and water resistant. The bag is insulated and lined to help keep food and beverages cool. Roomy and easy to pack, this bag works great for our family outings to the park or beach. Equipped with handles and shoulder strap for easy carrying (no padding for the strap is slightly disappointing though). Two outside, elasticized pockets are good for holding bottles or other small items. Overall, very stylish, high quality cooler bag!

This cooler bag is perfect for the back of my Wrangler. We will be using it heavily for our 4x4 adventures. Its washable which will be awesome since we do have a tendency to drive through mud "puddles" when the top is off, my interior is dirtier than the exterior when we are done so being able to put this in the washing machine is great. Holds plenty of drinks and snack for a day trip and keeps them cold.

This is a nice looking cooler that would fit enough food for a group of 5-6 people. If you want to fill it with beer or soda, it would fit about 12 cans. It has 2 exterior net pockets on the sides, and one exterior shallow pocket in the front. Those aren't very secure, but you can place items such as napkins in there. There is also a shoulder strap. Vera Bradley is normally known for bright colors, but this is a classic black color that would fit in anywhere.

This is a fairly sturdy cooler bag. This is good for getting ice cream home frozen from the store, taking on a picnic, the beach, the boat, etc. The zipper works well & the top opens wide to get your items in the bag. The handles make it comfortable to carry & a shoulder strap is included (not padded). I like that it has a flat bottom unlike the usual grocery bag style cooler bag style. It is easy to clean.

This is a nice cooler. It is a soft cooler-- so it will store easily when not being in use. It zips shut (with two zippers) and has pockets on the side and a cooler strap that can be used to carry it in the hand-- or over the shoulder. The material is nylon so it cleans easily- both on the inside and the outside. It can hold a lot of food or drink-- but not easily carried over the shoulder if it is full. It keep food cool-- I have added ice packs to keep items cooler longer- especially if it is in the car and warmed by the sun-- Overall- a nice cooler.
