Have hade it for well over a year now. Just make sure to not put back the filter when it’s wet I accidentally did that a few times and the suction fan got stuck because of the buildup of rust inside the motor. Sprayed some wd-40 and works like magic again.

2023, and this is the best we have? So sad! Its time to demand better!

UPDATE about a few weeks later... We debated if its something to keep or not, for our tile floors. The fact that you have to clean it at almost each use so counter productive it makes ZERO sense. So I am opting for buying a vac only model, and continue to use a manual mop for spot cleaning. Which is often what is needed, almost every other day. I am NOT gonna take this thing out, spot clean and then clean the machine. That is insane. Why would anyone do that vs taking a tiny more effort and manually cleaning the original mess, LOL?! Just so you think technology is doing the work? LOL . News alert! Its NOT, it hardly cleans stuck on dirt even using the soaker a bunch. It also drips often. Its just an extra machine to maintain! For full cleaning of the area, I will continue using the steam mop (which we love) that gets out anything that is stuck on for overall cleaning once a week or longer. So this is technology FAILURE! Also the fact that its spray water so easily, we notice it smells even with the tiniest of messes, and you have to empty it out. Wear do you empty it out?!!! In the kitchen sink? If you dont have a utility sink, that disgusting stuff goes in your tiny bath sink? Nope, you will get water all over. You need to either take it to the yard or in the kitchen sink. I dont care if you have to once in a while use the kitchen sink for really dirty stuff, and all the hair. NAAAAH!!!! Use the manual mop that has the flat microfiber pad and toss that in a basket outside, and I dont have to think about it for next time I do dirty towel washing. Even if I get my hands in there and switch the roller, it still stinks. So this is going back for sure! ---- I got the Crosswave X7 pet pro. It cant get edges well. It cant lower itself to get under surfaces as the head tilts up and cant go low. It as loud as a plug in, and its suction is very good on low. The front has ZERO adjustments, and anything larger than a 8th of an inch, like broken glass, or pebble, or dry cat food, its likely NOT going to pick it up(PetPro??!). One thing good, as some that have multi mode, like the Teneco I had, I had to use a manual setting thats higher. That=less battery time. For spot cleaning this works well. For cleaning an entire room.....Not so much. Also, the wetness is pretty significant unless you go over it dry enough times. So I wont use it on my natural floors.. Which brings me to point that is mind boggling, yet predictable....Which genius designed the water trigger just where you stronger grip fingers are supposed to hold the machine?! I have to use 3 rear fingers, pinky, ring, and barely middle to hold the handle. This is an obvious indicator of NON-US design, let alone MFG. But we expect the latter, not the former! SO I get the floor wet almost regularly, even after I trained my grip to leave my index finger resting and pushing at the side. Harder to maneuver, but its less water accidents due to design flaw. The tanks are enough for about a room size, as you dont need to trigger the water the entire time or even half the time. I would buy 2-3 top models and then decide. As these need to fit specific needs of hard foor. What was nice is that it did well on our rugs, which are very low pile, Persian silk, but I dont use the water and move quick so it doesnt damage. But, the battery life, and suction power are so far tolerable enough to keep using it. We are in 2023, and this is the best the people get? What a crying shame and what low expectations from the public. If you look at this thing, in the past 70+ YEARS of vacuums you would think for a MSRP of 500, this thing would be a BEAST of a workhorse..LOL, you have to baby the thing as its plastic 95+% of the thing. Manufacturers are laughing their way to the bank. I do consulting to electronics engineers and MFGs, and the plan is to make it JUST good enough to be tolerable and just barely reliable enough to repurchase when the planned obsolescence is reached. Much like most of the car industry. While other sectors actually stay performing for some of the sectors.

I debated and researched extensively before purchasing and now agree with reviews that said, just get it! Total game changer for me! Have home child care business, a large family, on a rural farm, with animals, in dusty North Dakota….need I say more? Some reviews mentioned smelling if not thoroughly cleaned immediately but I have not had that issue. I use multiple times every day so have often forgotten both dirty and clean tank sitting full overnight and it’s always ready to go with a quick rinse of the roller and dirty water tank! So far battery has lasted enough for me to do around 1000-1200 sq. Foot of floor on regular setting and charges again quickly. Tanks could be larger for what I do but it is very easy and quick dumping or refilling them. Works well on area rugs and turbo mode gets the stuck on or excessively large sticky messes. Some recent messes it conquered: a bowl of ice cream, with hot fudge; 5 broken eggs; 5 muddy sets of footprints from front door to back door…..self-cleaning function is a great quick clean between uses each day but with the extent of sand, hair and gunk I pick up in a day a more thorough daily cleaning is necessary but very easy. The solids filter and design of dirty water tank makes it a breeze to clean out quickly. It reaches edges better than I imagined with suction but doesn’t quite mop right up against edges. The only complaint i would have is that it is not designed for shorter people or kids as the head will tilt up off floor if handle is not kept up high enough, hinge only allows handle to go back to a slight angle from head. I hope it lasts longer than all of our other vacuums, 9-10 months before parts wear out, but am considering purchasing another now to have on hand just in case!
Love this machine in spite of flaws

I hate to clean. I especially hate to mop, so I do it far less often than I should. But having 2 cats and 2 dogs, I have to vacuum far more frequently since their hair piles up in the corners if I don't. So to have a single machine that allows me to vacuum and mop at the same time is something I love. And, although there are some significant cons about the Bissell Crosswave Cordless Pet Pro, for me the pros outweigh the cons. Pros: 1. First and foremost, this is a good vacuum cleaner. 2. I find cords annoying. I love that this is a cordless machine. 3. As I've already mentioned, I like being able to vacuum and mop at the same time rather than having to vacuum then go back over the same floor with a mop. 4. I think the Crosswave is so much more sanitary than using a mop and bucket, which requires using water that is dirty after the first swipe to mop the rest of the floor. With the Corsswave, there is a tank of clean water, and the dirty water is sucked up into a separate tank. 5. I am not at all mechanically inclined, so I was a bit concerned about having to figure out all of the buttons and tanks, how to take them out and get them back in correctly. But in spite of the complexity of the Crosswave, the instructions were clear, easy to follow, and the parts that come off and go back on, especially in the dirty water tank, were fairly intuitive to figure our. 6. The machine lets you know when the dirty water tank is full. I don't know if it also lets you know when the clean water tank is empty since the dirty water tank fills up before the clean water tank empties. 7. It's wonderful to have a wet vac that's appropriate for household use and can be used on wet spills. Cons: 1 The clean water and dirty water tanks are WAY too small. I live in a 900 square foot mobile home with all laminate flooring. I had to empty the dirty water tank and refill the clean water tank 5 times to do all of the floors. That's emptying and refilling after every room and after the length of the hallway. And my rooms are not big. 2. The solids filter in the dirty water tank is fairly useless. Yes, pet hair and other debris did collect on the solids filter, but it also collected on every surface inside the dirty water tank, and there was a kind of muddy debris left in the bottom corners of the tank. I had to take a paper towel and wipe out the inside of the tank each time it needed to be emptied, then rinse it in the sink. 3. The charge didn't last for quite the full time I needed it. It needed to be recharged before I could finish my final room. But I didn't have the setting on the hardwood floor mode, so perhaps if I keep it on that mode, the charge will last a bit longer. I can't tell if the charge lasted for the half hour claimed in the description since I spent so much time emptying the dirty water container. So I don't know the actual amount of time I had the Crosswave turned on. Yet in spite of the cons, I still like the Crosswave. I'm imagining using it when I spill water or eggs or cornstarch on my kitchen floor. The Crosswave will be simple to lift off it's charger, take to the kitchen, then sweep up and wash up the mess. And I will now be washing my floors every time I vacuum, so my floors will be cleaner than they have ever been, and that feels good to me.
Definitely better then expected

After years of mop buckets and hand scrubbing my life proof flooring I tore my rotator cuff and had to find another way to clean almost 2,000 square feet of flooring. I was hesitant to spend the a lot of money for a floor cleaner when they're are so many conflicting reviews and options. When I seen this Bissell on sale and looked at my Amazon points balance I figured I would give it a shot. The cleaner arrived fast and before expected. The box was heavy and again with a fresh torn rotator cuff it was probably more me then the box its self. My husband put it together with ease. I love that is changing base is large to store parts as they dry after use. The instructions are simple and easy to understand. Battery life is over a half hour, depending on what setting you are using. The clean and dirty water contains are small but it does make sense when you with about the weight of the vacuum it's self then add water. For my home I fill and dump about 4 times before my cleaning is complete. When using my o'cedar I would use at lease 2 buckets of water. So in all reality I'm probably using less water and the same amount of time cleaning. I was very happy this product came with extra rollers and trial cleaners. Between kids and dogs they bring a lot of dirt, which where I live is mostly sand and dust into my home. This product has no issues with pick up sand and dirt along with missed dog hair from vacuuming. I do vacuum well before using this product. If your on the fence, have kids, dogs and life proof flooring definitely try it.

This is what every mom needs! I like to use with plain water and a few drops of essential for a completely clean non toxic house. It is way better than a vacuum alone but takes the place of one. Good long battery life around 1/2 hr. Very maneuverable and quiet enough not to be bothersome. And it makes a full bowl of sticky oatmeal strewn across the floor no big deal to clean up. Good customer service too and a full replacement when something went wrong with charge while still under warranty. It made a big difference for managing my dust sensitivity also. Vacuuming stirs dust into the air but this simply wipes it up with no blowing, best cleaning tool I've ever come across! The air was notably easier to breath after I started using it. It is like having personal Zamboni that can keep floors clean as new if you keep up with them. Just make sure to really keep the machine rinsed clean after use and not forget it full of dirt water. I like to rinse the whole thing and ring out the brush in the sink rather than use brush cleaning cycle for maximum freshness or it can get musty and need rinsed well and the filter bleached.
I really wanted to love it, but...

After having my original Bissell Crosswave since 2014 it finally stopped working. I was very impressed with my Crosswave and even got others to purchase one. I debated and researched for several days before seeing this model, the Bissell 3277 Crosswave X7 Cordless Pet Pro on Woot. It helped me to immediately make a decision and push the Buy Now button. I have owned this new model for 7 weeks and am having to call in my warranty. This does not make me happy, nor does it help to make my life easier. This is not an easy item to have to ship out. I spend my weekend's cleaning my floors from two cats, three dogs, two boy-men, and a husband. I was thrilled to have an easier way to clean @ 1500sf of tile without having to drag out a mop and bucket. Now, only 7 weeks later, I am back to doing just that. The product area states that Amazon support is available for 90 days to troubleshoot, yet I've now tried calling three times and still haven't spoken with a human being. Instead the automated system continues to tell me I'm choosing the wrong order, so now I'm frustrated with customer service and angry that I spent $300 on a new Bissell that lasted all of seven weeks! As for the Bissell, I have been very gentle with it, I thoroughly clean it after every use, and have only used name brand Bissell cleaners. As of today it turns on, makes a strange sound while running, then shuts off and starts blinking the error light and the fan light. I have followed all of the troubleshooting guides and videos that I can find to no avail and am left with a broken cleaner and dirty floors. Up until the soul crushing disappointment of today, it did an "okay" job. It takes a really long time to charge for anywhere from 20-30 minutes of use, depending on what cleaning mode you decide to use. If you are someone who likes sparkling clean floors, this vacuum is not for you. It tends to leave streaks regardless of how often you stop and clean the roller. The various cleaning solutions are quite expensive and this machine seems to be very thirsty! In order to clean around 1500sq, it requires three to four refills and at least two separate charging sessions. Did I mention each charging session takes a couple of HOURS to fully charge? So before you buy what I thought would be an amazing addition to my cleaning arsenal, think about a different product or stick with the always reliable mop and bucket! Save yourself both time and money!

Loved my old, corded Crosswave. It cleaned really well. I expected the same from this, more expensive version. It's a disappointment. This Crosswave has its advantages, it's much easier to add cleaner/fill the tank and it's nice to drag around a cord. However, the tank holds too little cleaner solution and has to be refilled much more frequently than the old, corded one. It needs frequent cleaning and emptying and smells bad if you leave it for even a day or two. I used Pine Sol (prefer the scent) in my old Crosswave, but it foams too much in this one so I'm limited to the very expensive Bissell version. It's reminiscent of a printer. You need their ink/cleaner or it doesn't work. An okay purchase that I use. Would I buy it again. Definitely not.

First I'll address why I rated a 4 and not a 5 star. It is solely based off of the battery life time. It only has 30 minutes of battery life per 4 hour charge and I feel like they could come up with at least a 1 hour life battery which would be plenty sufficient. Aside from the battery life, this vacuum mop is AMAZING!! I searched and researched and I don't know if I could have found a better one but I love this one so I'm satisfied! I read reviews on this one and saw people say it was noisy, that it left floors streaky, that it was hard to clean BUT I read those same remarks about every single vacuum mop I researched so when this one went on a one day half price sale, I jumped on it and I do not regret it one bit! First, I will address the noisy - this unit is not noisy in my opinion. It sounds like a vacuum, duh! You cannot expect something that works well to purr. Second, streaky floors, now I do not know what people consider streaky floors but my floors were NASTY when I got this vacuum mop out to try it and I knew with all the muddy dog tracks and messy spots, I was going to have to go over the floors a few times before no streaks. But to my surprise, one cleaning with the Bissell Pet Pro X7 and my floors looked amazing! I expected it to be all streaky because they were so dirty but a streak here or there was it! I did find that if you pull and push the vacuum/mop straight forward and straight back, it streaked less but I believe I would almost have to TRY to make my floors streak with this machine! As for cleaning the machine, it was a breeze! I didn't use the self clean mode at first. All the parts are easy to take apart and rinse off. The dirty water bucket has a tray with a little handle that catches the hair and debris so you just lift it out and take the debris out, rinse everything off and your good for the next clean. This has got to be one of the best purchases I have ever made! It is so much easier, faster, and cleaner than the swiffer I was using! I highly recommend! And, in case you are wondering, I was not compensated in any way for this review lol!
Leaks (Updated 4/8/23) when works Best Multi-Surface machine I've owned. 3277 Model

Update (4/8/23) BTW: Buy This Instead OF THE 3279 same features but gives 2 extra rollers, 1 filter, 4 Bottles Cleaner and a clean-out brush 1) Bissell reached out and will replace my unit with the 3279 (same as 3277). As a Bissell owner of several products over the years that is what I expected to hear. ** Woot also reached out to solve the problem! *** 2) Again I like this model because of its third speed setting and leaves the floor much dryer than previous models. I have updated my rating to four stars. I believe Bissell can afford to upgrade there quality just a notch without having to increase there price. So I just received the 3277 version. By far its the best cordless version I've used from Bissell except my started leaking since day 3 of owning the product. It leaks on both sides of the jets that dispense the water down where the roller brush is located. Mine will empty out the water tank just sitting on the dock then it overflows and soaks my floor.. Called Bissell for support they where very nice except they wanted to replace it with model 3011 non-WIFI version this is one generation back. I kindly told support nope you have to give me an equivalent or better she said they do not have any other replacement available and that it will have to be escalated to the "Escalation Team" and wait two days for a response." What I do not understand how can a 1 billion dollar company not have any RMA replacements for the 3277 model. I will update this review once I get news on how they will resolve my issue.
