GREAT STORAGE SHELVING
By Doc on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2025
I bought this as a "like new" product. It had very minor damage, as if someone had dropped it on one corner. Still very much intact. It is a very sturdy product. It has deep pockets, which I was looking for. I am using it to store rolls of leather for my leather projects. It works perfect for that. This was the easiest product I have put together all year!!! A major plus. The screws solid, holes aligned and easy to follow diagram instructions. Definitely recommend.

Like a pre-stadium-seating movie theater

We bought one of the taller display shelves to hold the kids’ books in my husband’s office, and it’s great. When I saw this toddler book display shelf, I thought it would work well for the board books in our youngest child’s room. However, there are two main problems with it. 1. The construction is somewhat sloppy. Several holes were drilled slightly off of where they should have been, making assembly difficult. When I went to slide in G (the bottom), I discovered that the alignment of B (the front piece) was off enough that G couldn’t slide into the depression in the A (side) pieces. (See attached picture.) I was finally able to make it work by taking off B, attaching G, and then putting B back on. It took a bit of wiggling and pushing, and the screws were hard to get in, but at least it’s assemble. That’s just one example, though. A lot of the holes aren’t right. But, like I said, at least it’s assembled. I could get past that if it weren’t for my other complaint. 2. Unlike the taller display shelf at our office, the toddler shelf only had one bottom piece. This means that each section is deeper than the one in front of it. The books in the back basically get lost in a black hole. (It should have been made like the taller shelf: with two bottom pieces, the one for the back sections higher than the one for the front sections. In case you’re wondering, the back section in the toddler shelf is at least as deep as the back section in the taller shelf. I’ll have to measure the next time I’m at the office.) I’m going to see if I can make something for books to sit on inside the two rear sections so that they’ll be visible. The display shelf looks like it’s got stadium seating for your books, but that’s not the case. A book in the back will sit at the same height as a same-sized book in the front; the only difference as how much of the front cover will be obscured by the dividers and the books in front of it. So this display shelf is just okay. It’s sturdy enough that it will hold the books; it will get the job done. But I’ll probably have to rotate which books are in each section so the ones in the back aren’t forgotten.
