Bamboo Stove Topper and Cutting Board

The product itself is solid, sturdy, excellent. I purchased it to cover the glass stove top in my RV camper. The first one arrived well-packaged inside an Amazon box; however, the product itself had a flaw in the corner of the wood which prevented the screw holding the "foot" in to not seat properly. I contacted Umiboo and was told another item would be sent to me directly, which it was. Unfortunately, this time, no "feet" for the cutting board were in the box (which appeared to have come open in transit). The direct shipment from Umiboo was not boxed in an additional box like the one shipped through Amazon. Another call to Umiboo customer service resulted in another direct shipment which arrived intact a few days later. Bottom line, it that the product is excellent. The company has excellent customer service, but they're quality control may need a little improvement. This is a very heavy cutting board so it requires the additional boxing to ensure all the pieces arrive. The one shipped from Amazon was boxed properly, but the item itself failed quality inspection as Umiboo. It was NOT damaged in transit. I do love it, now that I have it installed in my RV...just took a bit longer than planned.
