Fun for my 7 year old granddaughter

This is a great toy for the price. My 7 year old granddaughter has had hours of fun with this, an adult would find it boring, however it’s so much fun to see her face light up and the joy she brings when playing with this and is a good tool for interactive play involving imagination. She took delight in showing her parents the “magic” genie tricks. It took a little time to figure it all out, but I think the directions were clear enough to understand and there is very little assembly involved.

Your kid has to really love this kind of toy to stay interested

This was an xmas toy and my 7 yr old saw it on youtube and really wanted it. It was showy with the lights and the smoke and the noises inside BUT to get the thing to come out it has these various color dials you have it turn at the right moment, if you don't, you have to retrace your steps and it looses the magic. The little creature inside is cute and does repeat what you say and makes little noises, but all the work to get the ring, then rub it, tap it, shake it twist the dial to the tiny speck of color at the right time...she's only played with it 3 times and already its going to the give away pile ( smoke out of the toy lasted that long and maybe had a 4th or 5th time left in it). So just a warning for the buyer and parent that hope's this gives their kids long lasting fun.....it didn't for my kid.
