Yes it’s a robot vac, but take care if it and it it will take care of you!

It requires maintenance, especially if you use it to mop. I have two big pit bulls one is a German shepherd pit bull mix and he sheds a lot!!!! This thing keeps our floors spic and span and smelling great!!! The carpets are always clean too! But I find myself emptying and refilling the water compartments almost every other day. I run this vacuum constantly, however. It does not bother my dogs. Even on full power with the loud noise. Both my dogs are free to roam indoors and out to our big backyard. There is about 2,650 sqft to clean. It gets the job done! We don’t have to clean around the house as much! But we do need to clean and maintain the robot, which is a small ask. I’ve replaced the washing pads and the brushes and filters and emptied the bins about once a month. Also cleaned the water and scrubbed in the back of the compartment of the robot. I highly recommend this robot vacuum but it only works well if you maintain it and take care of it! Don’t just set it and forget it, inspect it after every use and make sure the bags don’t have to be emptied or the water compartments changed and that nothing is stuck in it, etc. we’ve had this vacuum for about a year now, this vacuum is well worth the purchase! Update: we have been using about a half cup of shark vacuums cleaner solution in water for our mop. It is lavender scent and works great! It is only $9 and less than half the price with more oz of solution than the Omni recommended brand. You can find it here. https://a.co/d/641Mw1b The vacuum does take a long time to charge so it can take an entire day to clean 2,400 sq ft. We usually split up rooms so half the house in one day and the other half the other day.

Do you hate vacuuming and mopping?
By Jason E on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2022
Do you hate vacuuming and mopping? Well you will learn to love it again when you realize how little time it takes compared to constantly fiddling with the Deebot Omni vacuum. On day 1 I was excited to replace my current robot vacuum who's battery died and I figured it was time for an upgrade. The first day it worked decently well then the problems started. I have had numerous problems with the Deebot: Clean water tank pipe getting clogged with what looked like sealant or something. There is no clear indication that the robot doesnt fill up with water. I had to take apart the clean water tank and use a toothpick to clean it. (I have only used clean water) Being unable to split or join rooms because the map was corrupted multiple times and having to delete and recreate. The map randomly disappearing and being recreated resulting in all room specifications and barriers being deleted. The bag in the station constantly saying its full when its a brand new bag. Its pretty good about avoiding most cords or getting unstuck but in doing so usually loses a mop pad which results in it stopping anyway. Vacuum setting with anything higher than normal takes over 24 hours to actually vacuum my 1k sq ft downstairs due to charging time and rapid drain of battery. The only way I can get the "Yiko" to work is to play the example audio from the app loudly 3 or 4 times then it will register. Speaking normally it wont register, though it randomly picks up "Hey Yiko" when the tv is on. The final one is the drop sensor constantly registering its dirty and failing every time it tries to vacuum. I have tried cleaning them with a dry, and a damp cloth, but each time it lasts for 0 seconds or 30 seconds of cleaning. This resulted in me needing to send the unit back for my 1 warranty replacement and have to wait 3+weeks. So all in all I have successfully vacuumed/mopped my entire floor 0 times since I have owned it 1 month. I have had about a week total of "success" at 75% vacuum/mopped before running into some sort of problem. My floors are dirty and realized that just regular ol vacuuming and mopping takes significantly less time than fiddling with this vacuum. My previous one got stuck on cords occasionally or large bumps (like transitions), but at least kept the floor clean for 4 years. The picture is of another "drop sensor" issue where it doesnt make it off of its dock even. Constant problems, and lack of cleaning. Edit: 8/19/22 While waiting for my vacuum to be fixed still I picked up the new roborock. My previous 3 were older roborock models. Surprise not a single issue vacuuming and mopping. Doesn't pop off the pads and handles transitions much better. Successfully cleaned the same area without an issue multiple times a day for a week that the deebot could never finish once. Edit: 8/27/22 Received "fixed" deebot back. Still can't complete a single clean. Meanwhile the roborock has been cleaning the entire time with only one day failure where it bumped some cords off a chair and got trapped.
