Cossy120 pcs Building Blocks

I was worried about safety as some of the reviews of others tiles mentioned separating and magnets coming out but these tiles are riveted and securely held together and we have had no issues. They are not flat but indented in the middle as the center panel is one piece instead of a two piece laminate like the name brand but the cost savings are well worth the trade off. We are not building ball runs or roadways where it might matter. At first I thought the magnets could be stronger but after watching our 3 yr old granddaughter at play I realized any stronger and she would have difficulty separating them or could get pinched when they snap together. Bottom line is she loves them and can build lots of things by herself. I bought the 32 piece set to check them out and the price was good. No duty to Canada at that price point as the 32 piece set was not available at a reasonable price on amazon.ca but was available on amazon.com form CossyTime and ships to Canada so I gave it a try. I have now bought the 120 piece set as well also from Amazon.com. Hopefully they will become available on amazon.ca however even with shipping and exchange it was still better value than the name brand, especially at the deal price. Took two stars off as the 120 piece set is different from the 32 piece set. Tiles are not riveted but appear to be held together with plastic plugs. Also two sided and flat which might be a bonus for some. Left as 3 stars as seems solid but do not appreciate not receiving what was described. Based on other reviews I think this is the older style. However I might have tried a different brand if I knew they were going to send me the older style. Annoying as I ordered the 32 pieces as a sample and then got something different when I ordered the larger set. Feels like bait and switch tactics.
