Very sharp but the steak knives rust

The specialty knives (chef, paring, santoku, and bread) are amazing! The are study and high quality. The scissors are sharp and work like they should. We think the dark wood block is attractive and looks high end. The downfall is that although the steak knives are sharp and sturdy, the metal rust. I assume the company tried to save a few buck by not using stainless steel and instead used some stainless coating or another alloy. If you decide to buy these knives, make sure to hand wash and dry immediately.

This is a set worth buying! A couple of tips to ensure that they will never disappoint, When you wash them, do it by hand, and immediately dry and put back in their sharpening block. They cut so well with minimal effort. Be careful I cut myself on the very first wash!

These are high quality knives that work exactly as they need to. The only thing I can add is watch your fingers. I had been using dull knives for so long I forgot how to use a sharp knife. Within the first week after purchasing I sliced a piece of skin off my fingers while chopping vegetables. Ouch LoL.

Sharp, nice wood block color. So far - love these knives. Cut through anything and everything! The sharpeners work like a charm. The only reason. I gave a 4 star is because of the space they take up on my counter top. It's a little squat vs tall, so more space is used.
