BUILT 12oz Double Wall Vacuum Sealed Mug

This is perfectly designed for my needs. Most lids have a sliding/flip cover over the sip hole that protrudes and every time you take a sip, it hits your nose. I generally just take off the darn thing, but this has a sliding cover that is FLUSH with the lid. How smart! The lid also has a rounded edge that feels smooth and is so pleasant on your lips. I own many many stainless steel cups/tumblers and while most have smooth edges, I’ve never seen one that is rounded like this. I find that some plastic lids have a taste that ruins the taste of my coffee. Every time I sip, I can taste it. Thankfully, this one was fine. I’m clearly a little obsessive about the lid design, but I also love the simplicity of it. A very low profile that doesn’t interfere with your drinking nor hide gunk that can’t be cleaned. I also love the cup’s waist. I have small hands and the slight narrowing 2/3 of the way up the cup makes it easy for me to grasp it. I have searched high and low and purchased many stainless steel mugs to house my Aeropress Go that comes with a plastic mug, which has a distinct plastic taste. I’ve used many vessels that were good enough to house the coffee maker, but not perfect. Most are too narrow at the bottom or too narrow at the top. This mug is perfectly sized for my Aeropress, which I carry to work. The wide base makes it stable when I’m pressing down on the plunger and it honestly feels like it was custom designed for it. A very long review, but I just wanted to say how pleased I am with this item. Highly recommend.
