Good quality brushes for a good price.

Nice kit with varying styles of brushes. The brushes have held up well and offer consistent performance. Daughter is a budding artist, uses these at least once a week, and likes them so far! Good price for a mixed bag of brushes.

Ok quality for the price

This is definitely not a high quality professional artist set, but is a great set for beginners. There is a great variety of styles and shapes of paint brushes to achieve lots of different brush stroke effects, including fine detail, fantastic, and larger strokes. Unfortunately the largest brush has uneven bristles (see picture), which will impact your strokes. There are other brushes with less obvious uneven bristles, or bristles coming out. But you can still get good use out of this set. The pallets also are for beginners. They are plastic, and have a lot of give to them. You typically want your pallets to be firm, one of these is very flexible. Overall, I do recommend this set for a beginner or casual painter who wants an affordable way to get lots of variety in their brushes.
