This is just the right size to fit on a five year olds lap as that play with it. The magnet is on an attached string and is strong enough to actually pull the items. It is made out of wood and has a couple of pages that can be placed in the back to change out the activity. LOVE IT!

The insert doesn't line up with the holes on the front. It still works but it is annoying.
