Rowenta X-Cel Easy Steam Handheld Steamer

I really wanted to like this steamer, but after using it a few times, I wish I had bought a different one. The shape of the water dispenser is so wide that I struggle to remove the container to fill it. Once it’s filled and I press the power button, it’s unclear when the steamer is actually ready to use. I also find it heavy, requiring me to constantly switch hands. The hold button—which lets you steam without holding the trigger—is poorly positioned. My hand has accidentally disengaged it multiple times during a single session. Even turning the steamer off is confusing; pressing the power button doesn’t clearly indicate whether it’s shut down. I don’t expect products to be perfect, but this steamer has too many flaws to ignore. I wish I could return it but I’m now past the return window.
