Hoover ONEPWR WindTunnel Emerge Cordless Vac

Absolute trash. Well, I should qualify: the vacuum works okay. It's loud and has an annoying pitch to it, but I'd put up with that. The real problem is the batteries. We've had ours about 10 months and had three (or is it four—I lose count) batteries fail. Hoover is nice enough to send replacements, but the last one failed in a month. One month! I thought maybe we have a defective charger or something. But they wouldn't hear anything about that. They just send out a new battery. All fine and well, but at some point this thing will be out of warranty, and I'm sure not going to be buying new batteries myself every month or two. Meanwhile, I have a bunch of DeWalt batteries that get absolutely abused in my garage and have been going strong for years. Hoping I can get a return and refund out of Hoover because I have no confidence in this product. I'll look elsewhere. If you want to take a risk on this, make sure you have at least a 1 year return window.
