Excellent! Better value than originally HP by 5x

My HP printer kept asking me to update the firmware. I was concerned to do the software update because in the past HP was sued for deceptively putting a countdown timer in their software updates that detected generic cartridges and then later disabled those cartridges. I bought these generic cartridges last month and the return window is in a few days, so I printed an image with the genuine HP cartridges, updated the software and installed the new cartridges and printed the same image. Now I don't buy cartridges in advance because HP may repeat their dishonest behavior and I'm always hesitant to update the HP firmware. These generic cartridges are $34 and the 3 color and black cartridges are all XL size. The genuine HP cartridges are black XL and 3 regular size color for $131. I also see two black XL and the 3 XL color genuine HP cartridges for $220. From a value standpoint these cartridges are better than anything HP can sell you and the two images I printed genuine HP vs clone (or refurbished) look identical.
