TURBRO Suburb 25" Smart Fireplace, Black

This was a lower priced heater that looked almost too good to be true. And it turned out to be! It was so bad and incredibly dangerous; I couldn’t believe how bad it was. First and foremost, it is dangerous! It is a house fire waiting to happen! The cord and plug were very hot and the plug and wall receptacle was scorched. I’m not an electrician, but something very bad was happening! The other issue was that after it warmed up after about 5 minutes, it began to smell like dead fish! At first I thought it was something that had gone bad in my refrigerator, but after I turned off this Chinese made heater, the smell disappeared immediately! Turned it back on and the offending odor had returned immediately! Weirdest thing I ever saw/smelled! I am returning it and do NOT recommend it, primarily because of the safety issues and concerns about a probable fire hazard, and secondly… it just stinks like something died in it! And if something did die, I don’t want to know what it is! My dog is present and accounted for and we’re not missing any neighborhood children! If this is a lemon, okay. But if this is a recurring set of problems, then it should be taken off the market and recalled! Unsafe, and it smells to high heaven!!! Two Thumbs Down!!! 👎 Don’t waste your time or money with this one!!!
