Set of 4 Wood Card Deck Organizer Stands

Well, I have to say the price was great, especially for six card holders that were not made out of plastic. I bought these because I work in a long term care nursing home and most of the residents have had a stroke, have Parkinson’s or other neurological issues that prevent them from playing card games. They cannot hold onto a bunch of cards and these card holders definitely do that job. I am though disappointed with the quality. One holder was broken upon delivery, although they were made out of wood, the wood was more like balsam wood and light weight and not at all durable. Even with the provided pads for the bottom of these holders they moved around a lot making it hard for the residents to remove or put in their cards. I also had to sand and polyurethane them before the first use because I was afraid the residents would get splinters and if anything were to get spilled on them they would just absorb it and not be able to get wiped off or sanitized. I was able to mostly repair the one broken holder with wood glue. I chose to not return the product because I was able to make them be functional with some of my own time and energy. All in all, as the saying goes, “ You get what you pay for”.
