Nice-looking bed with clean design
By Zero One on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2024
This bed is sturdy and good for space-constrained rooms. There’s no need for an annoying wall-mount kit. The bed is suited to child or early teen. I wouldn’t sleep two on this. The product originates from Malaysia. It’s a good value, more so on sale. I saw cheaper beds of poor quality, or which would require expensive add-ons such as the desk included here. I would recommend two people to assemble. Read the directions carefully so you don’t skip parts such as the pegs. The diagram is mediocre and cluttered so study it carefully. Two people could build an end and side each, the desk and the ladder. Plus it would help to have someone else to help maneuver and flip the frame during construction. It took me nearly 3 hours due to lack of work space. Halve that with a helper. Mind your hardware. There are no extras so anything dropped or lost needs to be replaced from your parts bin. Make sure you have a step ladder. Any drill work should be done slowly. Hex attachments would be helpful too, particularly for disassembling a prior bed. Build the ends, the sides, then attach them. Add the desk and ladder. The lattice to support the mattress goes on at the end. Everything slots together nicely.

BAIT AND SWITCH REVIEWS. CURRENT PRODUCT IS SIMILAR LOOKING, BUT INFERIOR.
By Antoine K. on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2023
I was apprehensive, but hopeful about purchasing this bed because the listing appears to show two different versions of a similar beds. The reviews praised its quality and sturdiness, but appears to be of an older version that I also own. However, it seems like the product I received is a far cry from the one those customers experienced. It's evident that the manufacturer has made significant changes to the materials used and the construction, and not for the better. First and foremost, the build quality of the bed I received is subpar. The older reviews raved about the solid and robust frame, but mine feels flimsy and weak. They're using thinner wood now, as there's a noticeable lack of stability. I find myself constantly worrying about its durability, especially when my child is sleeping on the top bunk. I've also measured the thickness of the wood in the new bed to the old one and confirmed my suspicions. Furthermore, the bolts provided with the bed are smaller and less secure than what previous customers had mentioned. This downgrade in hardware compromises the overall integrity of the bed, making it less safe than it should be. In comparison to the previous version, the current hardware feels like a cost-cutting measure rather than a thoughtful investment in customer satisfaction. Assembly was also a frustrating experience. Some parts didn't align properly and I had one bolt that wouldn't screw in because it was too short, causing extra headaches during setup. I followed the steps meticulously, but it was difficult to achieve a stable and wobble-free bed due to the reduced quality of the materials. In conclusion, I can't recommend this loft bed in its current state. If you're looking for a sturdy and reliable piece of furniture, I'd suggest exploring other options. It's evident that the manufacturer has sacrificed quality to cut costs, leaving customers like me disappointed and dissatisfied with the overall value of the purchase. I hope they reconsider their approach and return to producing the higher quality bed that garnered positive reviews in the past. Until then, I regretfully have to give this loft bed a below-average rating.
