Why no door?

There should be a door on the 36” and 42” for easier access. I made the mistake of bending over one of the panels to pick up my then 3.5 month old puppy and fell on it, causing pain to myself and a bent panel. I knew it wasn’t the best idea but since we were working on potty training, I needed to get her out quickly and didn’t have the extra couple minutes to detach the panels from one another.
