(NEW!) Aspiron Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Blue

I had been using a large shop vac for tiles, wood, and a couple of throw rugs for the longest time because it was the only thing that would religiously pick up the pet hair. I got really tired of lugging that thing up and down a flight of stairs to clean another level of the house. I remember these canister vac's from the 70's (ugh oh, I'm dating myself) and the ease in which they operated. Of course, now, the materials used are more of a cheaper plastic as opposed the the original metals, but I suppose that would detract from the unit being lightweight. With vacuuming a 3800sf home, I have to literally empty the bagless compartment about 10 times before I'm done. But I do love it and am happy with it. It has powerful suction and fool controls for power, cord, bare floor or carpet and there is a dial for suction control. There was a little manual, but I didn't find it helpful AT ALL and there was no instruction as to where to assemble the attachments. I ended up slipping them onto the area where you would attach the metal extension pole to the curved "handle". Maybe that's where it's supposed to be? I am glad I purchased it, though. It has made my cleaning so much easier.
